Get to Know Us

Hey, I'm Rachel and i'm the owner of The Lash Connection, a boutique beauty studio based on the Gold Coast specialising in Eyelash Extensions, Brow Styling and Cosmetic Lip Blush Tattooing. 

I originally grew up in Auckland in New Zealand, you may still even hear the accent when you come in for your appointment! I came over here for a holiday when I was 20, and from the moment I landed I knew I never wanted to leave, so I packed my bags and moved over by myself. Luckily for me being very family orientated I was able to convince a lot of my family to move over here too! (because who wouldn't want to live on the Gold Coast, right?)

I've always been obsessed with all things beauty ever since I was a kid. From playing with make up and hair at a young age this passion inspired me to build a career in the beauty industry. Ive been very fortunate to work with some large companies in Australia prior to opening my own business and have even had the opportunity to work Australian Fashion Week. (vision board, check!)

From there my passion continued to grow, and I knew that I wanted to start my own business helping women feel beautiful through enhancing their features with Eyelash Extensions and Brows. 9 years later after opening my business I'm still inlove with all things beauty and colour. This has inspired me to start offering Lip Blush Cosmetic Tattooing and i'm so excited to bring this new service into the studio in 2022!

I'm also currently working on bringing out an exciting Online Eyelash Extension Course in 2024. 

When i'm not in the salon you'll find me either cuddling my cat Mee Mee or grabbing a cocktail with the girls. 

I'm very fortunate to have built the business I have and I owe all of this to my loyal clients, many of which have been with me since the day I opened The Lash Connection.

Every woman that comes into my studio is more than just a client to me. I enjoy staying updated with your personal lives, feeling like i'm apart of the journey and even providing a safe space to relax, be pampered and get anything you want off your chest. My studio is a judgement free zone and I think thats something my clients appreciate a lot.

My number one goal in the studio is to have all my clients leave feeling happy, confident and feeling like their most beautiful self.
